More fetishy bike stuff…

I had to share the Yakkay’s Helmets’ ‘how to’ video on adjusting your helmet. I’ve been in the mood for swanky tunes though, so maybe that’s what I really liked about it.

And not that I’m suggesting we’re anywhere close to cold weather. WE AREN’T, ARE NOT, summer must neeever leave us … here are their earwarmers. I’m such a sucker for bunnies.

I want! (Swedish Toys)

Filed under: Art, Fashion (Facism), Friends and Family, Gear, Scando — dagabairtilo @ 12:40 pm

My friend is about to have a little bundle of joy, and another friend of ours’ kid is about to turn 4, so what do you guys think of these Swedish design toys? I’m in love, but we all know what a kid at heart I am. Am I off base here? These rock, no?

whoa, whoa, whoa

All I wanted to do was check out what was new at American Apparel (NSFW), not to see booty. Buuut (no pun intended), as long as they’re sharing, I thought I would too.

Appley Question

Filed under: Gear, tech — groenefee @ 10:21 am

So here’s a question:

A and I decided to beef up our shitty wireless network and go 801.11n. I set up this system:

dsl modem
801.11n Airport—-[ethernet]—-Old 801.11g Airport—[gWiFi]—-Wii/visitingcomps/gAirtunesEx
Comp/A’s Lap/nAirtunesEx

Everything is working great with a dedicated 801.11n 5g stream and a 801.11g 2.4g stream (net is distributing fine, all devices show when they should, logs show stable leases etc…) Except that the 801.11g Airtunes via the old Airport Extreme isn’t available to the 801.11n people. If I log onto the “g” network, I can access the speakers, but from the primary network…nada….thoughts?

Gear discussion: Touring Rims

Filed under: Gear, VeloFietsen — groenefee @ 11:50 am

Hey all. We’re currently rebuilding the cop car’s wheels and I need some rim advice. Please remember we’re talking about these criteria: High PSI, Run a 28-35, handle a fat man at high speeds (220lbs+100lbs gear), 36 spoke, clincher.

I’m leaning after a lot of reading toward the Mavic A-719.

I’m open to others,
