Hi all. I found an essay from the point mag yesterday when I was working at the new student orientation … I liked the essay so much that I looked at their site and read a few more.

I think I finally found a bread recipe that makes beautiful bread for a novice. I tried it yesterday when I accidentally found the recipe while looking for pizza crust recipes. J, E and I ate the first loaf with honey for breakfast this morning.
It’s super easy and the bread is amazing.

I’m sure you guys already are aware, but the Tour of Cali kicks off today. Versus is doing daily coverage. This looks like it is going to be a seriously amazing race. Epic conditions and like a cycling hall of fame reunion. CVV, Lance, Landis, The Schlecks, Cancellera, Boonen etc etc Seriously amazing.
I hate riding with Scott, which I did yesterday, because I always walk away with really really bad bike envy. He has one of these (pretty much just like that but with even more sexified deep carbon wheels). It’s funny how much bike envy is like car envy. You know the feeling when you pulled your (S) escort up to the s2000? Yeah, that.
Anyhoo. I’m wondering if it’s possible to get massive bike sexiness without spending >5k. I ask you assistance in this endevour.

Please note his excellent bottle de-icing tip — don’t know why I never thought of this. I just rode for an hour at a bit under 20 with zero ice: water bottle filled and supplemented with a shot of that turk anise liquor. Yum.
