So a batting average of 306 (single season high of 35 
magically becomes 279 (note most production raising that average is from when he was on the Mariners. SLG goes 578 (season high 645) to 483. OBP .422 to 361. A team gets a lot from him in the regular season, but not enough to keep him apparently. 11/15/07 Ed note…so I know this blog post means little to nothing to others, but…it seems that lil Alex might have found that the market and the world hatred toward him were a bit too flaccid and vitriolic respectively …so he seems to be eating a bit of crow.
